Agnes Darelid

Agnes Darelid is a trombonist born and raised in Gothenburg. In 2020, she earned her bachelor's degree in jazz at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, and since moving to Stockholm in 2017 has worked extensively in several different contexts and constellations on Sweden's music scene. She writes for and runs her own quintet, and is a member of ensembles such as Loke Risberg Vilddjur Septett, The Jazzcats, Scandinavian Jazz Orchestra, Tengholm Ullberg Big Band, Håkan Broström New Places Orchestra and the salsa band Beat Company. In 2021, she was one of the participants in Bohuslän Big Band's project "Up & Coming Jazz Talents" and in 2023 is one of those selected to participate in the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra. In addition to that, she has participated in productions with, among others, Blue House Jazz Orchestra, Norrbotten Big Band, Pedro Martins, Vince Mendoza, John Beasley, Bohuslän Big Band, Calle Real and Tjuvjakt.
