Popkollo (pop camp) IMPRA was formed in 2014 on the initiative of the music and equality association IMPRA and is a non-profit member association of the National Popkollo organization. We work from different parts of the country to create arrangements and groups linked to jazz and aimed at children and young people.
Our main goal is to reach out to young people and create groups and platforms where girls and trans people can explore, discover and further develop their musicianship in jazz and improvisation. We think it's important to make music in contexts without demands, grades or goals that chase you and can be stressful. Popkollo IMPRA strives to create such contexts and places for curiosity and lots of jazz together with others!
