Gunilla Törnfeldt has been active as a jazz vocalist, composer and arranger since 2002. She is equally rooted in traditional vocal jazz as an ensemble vocalist, improviser and arranger, as well as in the more modern, more eclectic contemporary jazz as a solo artist, composer and improviser. She has released two solo albums with her own music on her own label - A Time for Everything (2009) and Behind the Mask (2017). In 2012, she founded the vocal group Stockholm Voices, which after its successful debut tour in 2014 released the debut album Come Rain or Come Shine in 2015. Gunilla's music has been described as a wayward, but also artistically reflected mix of beautifully refined jazz vocals and experimental attitudes. The group Stockholm Voices has been praised for its precision-honed, world-class vocals with four equilibrist voices that together create a unique sound. Gunilla Törnfeldt is active in Stockholm.
