Karin Johansson is a pianist and composer within a wide spectrum of improvisational music, free jazz and contemporary music. Works, among other things, with alternative techniques/prepared piano. Active for many years both in Sweden and internationally. Also composes and plays stage music for theater and dance. Karin is based in Gothenburg but was born and raised in Malmö. She is educated at the University of Theater and Music in Gothenburg.
